Draft Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP)

A PAMP is a plan that seeks to encourage pedestrians by removing or ameliorating barriers to walking.

Council is seeking community feedback on the draft PAMP. Have your say today, consultation closes 14 March 2012.

Council’s Active Transport Working Group is developing a new 5 year plan aimed at improving bicycle and pedestrian facilities in Mosman.

Spit Bicycle and Pedestrian Infrastructure Project

A two directional bicycle path on the western side of Spit Road from Parriwi Road to the Spit Bridge is being designed.

Includes a shared path underpass at Spit Bridge and an upgrade to the Spit West bus stop to comply with disability access requirements.

Walking maps for Mosman

Mosman is a compact suburb and you can walk between most attractions in less than 30 minutes.

This project will identify attractions in Mosman representing key destinations, then identify the best route to walk and the time it will take for an average walker.

Bicycle Plan 2012

The new bicycle plan aims to reduce the reliance on private vehicles for local trips through the expansion of pedestrian and cycling facilities.

The plan looks to create more continuous cross-Mosman routes, based on grade, cyclist safety, cyclist count data and your feedback.
